
ABOUT
Federica Fichera is an Italian born video content producer currently based in Melbourne.She is a Video Editor with a passion for colour grading but most importantly a collaborator.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Video Design from the European Institute of Design in Milan (IED) and in 2016 she moved to Melbourne to continue her studies at the RMIT master of Media.
During her studies she mastered the production of audio-visual in the world of cinematographic storytelling and she gained an advanced technical knowledge of filming equipment and editing softwares.

In the past 2 years Federica has been exploring the fast-paced world of advertising at Visual Domain creating short-form video content for clients such as Bevmarks, NAB, Save the Children, Red Rooster, Monash University, Lendlease, Relestate.com, Godfrey Hirst, Australian Super and many more, successfully delivering content that ranged from Brand Stories, TVCs, Case studies, Hype reels, Client testimonial videos, Real Estate Video and Social Media Advertising.

Federica's love for storytelling is driven by a genuine interest in documentaries and in 2018 she was able to pursue her passion by working as a video editor and colourist along with the team of Space Between the Gaps Films. Since 2016 she has also worked freelance for companies such as Arts Centre Melbourne, PANPAN Films, Crown Casino, Just Gold Digital Agency and WhiteGrey.

Over the past few years she has successfully collaborated with various Indigenous Australian communities from Queensland and NSW during the production of two thought-provoking short form documentaries "Muruba"(Byron Bay film festival official selection) and "Evanescent country". Her independent work deals primarily with social justice, culture and environment protection.

In 2018 and 2019 Federica worked as a video producer for Blinxel, the world's first completely democratised Augmented reality content creation and consumption platform.
​
She has also been involved as an Assistant Director and Assistant producer in a variety of Television productions, including That's what the boys are for, Silent comedy, EmmyLou Loves and Mainland tonight.
